TUESDAY, MAY 2, 2006 * BLUE CROSS ARENA * ROCHESTER, NEW YORK

As we return from commercial, “Dead Promises” by The Rasmus explodes onto the speakers, and Morgan Day makes her way down the aisle to a thunderous ovation. Morgan, looking about as far from pleased as one could possibly get, grabs a microphone and enters the ring.

Morgan: Last week, as I’m sure you all know, I lost my Women’s Championship to Keiko Ishida, and it was thanks to that filthy little skank Magnifica. There is no way of getting around it, no way of sugar-coating it. That is exactly what happened, and I will settle for nothing less than complete vindication and ultimate revenge. Now, I know Magnifica was out here earlier, and I did all I could do to restrain myself from coming out here and beating the bloody hell out of her. But I decided to take care of things more democratically. While Magnifica was out here spewing her venom to Greg Tantalus, I was in Kerry Cox’s office, finalizing a match. And that match, as you might have initially suspected, is in fact NOT a rematch against Keiko Ishida for the Women’s Championship. I will take care of that in due time. What I DID ask for, and what I have received, is a one-on-one match this Saturday night at Animosity against YOU, Magnifica. When we get to Edmonton on Saturday, there will be no place for you to run, no place for you to hide, and just mere hours before you have to stand in Jackie Baccaro’s corner and deal with not only Lauren Tantalus, but trying to keep Jackie from losing the title to Greg Tantalus, you will have to deal with getting your ass handed to you by me, right in the middle of that ring.

Suddenly, Morgan is cut off by “She’s a Bitch” by Missy Elliot blaring onto the speakers, and Magnifica, microphone in tow, making her way to the ring to a thunderously jeer-filled response. Magnifica enters the ring and stands face to face with Morgan Day as the fans buzz loudly.

Magnifica: Well congratulations to you. You have managed to get Kerry Cox, the miserable bastard that he is, to sign me up for my first actual match back here in the PWA, since I lost a loser leaves the company match almost three years ago. And you know, I’ve been meaning to get back into the ring since I’ve been back, but I just simply haven’t had the urge to. You come close to giving me that urge. You know why? Well, Morgan, it’s because I just don’t like you. You call me a skank? You’re the one screwing the most pathetic man-whore that’s ever walked the earth.

Morgan: It’s so easy for you to rewrite history the way you want it to be viewed, isn’t it Magnifica? You like for the story between you and Vulture to cast you as a sympathetic figure, to cast him as a vile, reprehensible character that left you justified in everything you did to the man, don’t you? Well, believe me, NOTHING could justify that. You are a coward, a manipulator, and an absolute piece of garbage.

Magnifica: You see how easy it is for him to poison your head? You believe what he tells you to believe, Morgan. You’re nothing but a sheep. They’ve all been sheep. They believe his sob story, and believe that I’m the one to blame for all this. But no one wants to believe my side of the story. No one wants to believe that I’m not this evil, manipulative bitch that tried to destroy Vulture’s life and the lives of everyone around him. But you know what? If they don’t, they don’t. It sells tickets, right? You’ll find out how right I am sooner or later, Morgan. They all do.

Morgan: So what are you saying? That you didn’t go behind his back and abort the child he didn’t even know he had? That you didn’t sell him out in CAW and have people try to end his career for your own gain? That you didn’t continue to play with his head, try to destroy his mind, well after you two were no longer romantically involved? That you didn’t then show up in the PWA in 2003 for the sole purpose of trying to prove to yourself that you could still manipulate him, that he could still be your puppet? You got what you had coming to you three years ago when he tossed you out of this company on your ass.

Magnifica: Vulture deserved everything I gave to him. Vulture is the scum of this earth, and he deserves to die. I aborted his child, because the thought of having his offspring inside me repulsed me. I stayed away for nearly three years, but when I saw him ruining the career of a promising young athlete like Jackie Baccaro, I could stay away no longer.

Morgan: So you came back to poison his mind, to turn him against his mentor. You disgust me, Magnifica. Even before I met you, I hated you. And you know how I know what Vulture says is true and what you say is a lie? Because I know Vulture. And I know you. You are the epitome of all that is evil and wrong in this world. You came back here for some twisted form of vengeance, and you are now getting exactly that. You saw that Vulture was the top manager in this company, with a budding relationship with a woman he cares deeply for, and who cares deeply for him. And what did you do? You couldn’t just sit back in your Hell’s Kitchen apartment and do nothing, no. You had to come back and make sure that he couldn’t find happiness. Well, Magnifica, you’ve accomplished it. His protégé turned against him, and then you took away his dignity, his pride, his livelihood, and sent him away. He’s at home convalescing, and won’t even THINK about coming back here. He’s just about given up hope, Magnifica, because of what you have done. He feels powerless to do anything to stop you, and maybe at this juncture he is. But I am not. You decided to screw with the wrong woman, Magnifica. You screwed me out of my title, twice. You tried to injure me. You and your meathead protégé destroyed my love and sent him away from this company that he loves so much. And now, you will pay for it. You will pay for it with your career, and you will pay for it this Saturday night at Animosity. But you know what? I don’t want to wait for Animosity. I want you to pay… RIGHT NOW!

With that, Morgan spears Magnifica to the mat and begins pounding away on her viciously to a round of thunderous cheers from the crowd! Magnifica turns her over and begins wailing away on her as well! The two women brawl back and forth on the mat until several officials storm down the aisle to pry them apart! Morgan and Magnifica are being held apart by numerous officials, lunging at each other hatefully, as the fans continue to cheer and we go to break!

Troy: Oh my God! What a brawl!

Hosemann:
Troy, this is going to be one hell of a war at Animosity!

Troy: Will it ever! Folks, we’ll be right back!

-- COMMERCIAL BREAK --

Back from commercial, the camera takes us ringside, to our commentators Victor Troy and Superstar Scott Hosemann.

Troy: Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen. As we just heard before the break, Magnifica and Morgan Day will be going one-on-one this Saturday night at Animosity, and it’s sure to be a turbo-charged affair.

Hosemann: That’s right,
Troy. It’s Magnifica’s first match since returning to the PWA after a nearly three year absence, and with the emotion we just saw that will be behind this match, absolutely anything can happen.

Troy: Speaking of anything can happen, folks, the Golden Ring tournament continued this past Friday and Saturday night, and some of the results were shocking!

Hosemann: They were, so let’s get the graphics up on the screen. You can check out results through Saturday night
HERE, and you can check out the updated bracket HERE.

Troy: Scott, what do you think was the biggest shocker of the second round?

Hosemann: Well clearly, it was me being eliminated by Rudy Montenora. Haha, no in all seriousness, there were some shocking events that took place. As for my loss, well, I got a victory, and lost to one of the classic superstars of this company, who had been out of action for less time than myself. I’m not dissatisfied with how it went, but I’m certainly a bit disappointed to be gone. But, Troy, clearly, the biggest upset of the weekend was Henry Swanson, who was handed a gift with a victory over Scythe in the first round, was given another gift this weekend, as members of the Legacy – Justin Schenck and Darrin Giles in particular – interfered to cost Renegade that match. It’s all about jockeying for position for Animosity, and unfortunately for Renegade, it cost him a spot in this tournament.

Troy: That’s right. Now Henry Swanson, the former PWA superstar who never won a championship, a 13 seed, will wrestle Mike Troha, the top seed in that bracket, in the third round. Also of note, Bodycount, once one of the most dominating superstars we have ever seen, pulled off a victory that most are viewing as shocking, as he defeated Hollywood Mike Griffin.

Hosemann: I can’t really even say that was much of a shock,
Troy. Do you remember how dominant Bodycount was? Mike Griffin obviously didn’t, and because of that, it’s a shocking second round exit for the two-time PWA Champion. And also, Troy, don’t forget Dean Nash, who stunned Jonathan Brett in the first round, shocking Briggs this past weekend, thanks to Solomon. But of course, Briggs got Solomon back a little later on, causing a distraction that led to The Machine pinning him.

Troy: It was an action-packed weekend, and it only gets hotter this Friday night, the tournament’s last night at the Hammerstein Ballroom! After this, the tournament will move to Frequency for the final three rounds, beginning right here next week. But this Friday, we’re going to get Bryan Conroy vs. Kerry Cox in a preview of Animosity one day prior to the pay-per-view; International Champion Showtime Damon Savage up against Rudy Montenora; The Miracle Mike Troha against Henry Swanson; Bodycount against Greg Tantalus; the PWA Champion Jackie Baccaro against upset kingpin Dean Nash; The Machine against the man that ran him out of the PWA, Jason Calysto, in a rematch from Everlasting Epic III; GI Jew trying to stop the man HE sent out of the PWA last June, Anthony Failla; and the man of destiny, Jaguar, taking on James Biamonte, fresh off a second round upset of Romeo. It’s going to be real hot just one night before Animosity, and we’ll be sure to tell you all about it this Saturday night on pay-per-view!

Hosemann: We sure will,
Troy! But up next, we’ve got Jackie Baccaro and Romeo against Greg Tantalus and Showtime in tag team action!

Troy: We sure do! Stick with us, folks, we’ll be right back!

-- COMMERCIAL BREAK --

Back from break, “Hey You” by Simon Says blasts onto the speakers, and the fans begin cheering wildly as Greg Tantalus makes his way down to the ring. Tantalus steps inside and begins readying himself as “Footprints” by G-Unit overtakes the speakers and the International Champion Showtime Damon Savage emerges to a huge ovation. Showtime joins Tantalus in the ring, and the two begin talking things over as “And Then What” by Young Jeezy hits the speakers, and “Da Playboi” Romeo arrives to a cascade of boos. Romeo pauses at the foot of the ramp, waiting for his partner, and he doesn’t have to wait long. Moments later, “Things Done Changed” by Notorious BIG comes crashing onto the speakers, and the fans boo vociferously as Magnifica leads the PWA World Heavyweight Champion Jackie Baccaro to the ring. Baccaro hands the belt to Magnifica, and he and Romeo slide into the ring and immediately begin brawling with Tantalus and Showtime, prompting the bell to sound and this match to officially get underway!

Troy: Alright, here we go!

Hosemann: What a match this should be!

* PWA CHAMPION JACKIE BACCARO & ROMEO VS. GREG TANTALUS & INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION SHOWTIME DAMON SAVAGE *
Referee: Tom Stevens
Romeo and Showtime brawl to the outside of the ring, and Tantalus and Baccaro are left exchanging fists in the center of the ring. Tantalus gets the edge on Baccaro in the early going, and the fans cheer loudly, pulling for Tantalus! However, with Baccaro reeling, Magnifica jumps onto the apron, trying to cause a distraction. The distraction works, but only momentarily, as Tantalus grabs Magnifica by the hair and yanks her off the apron, sending her down to the arena floor to a huge ovation!

Troy: Magnifica has been floored, and this crowd is loving it!

Hosemann: I’ve never seen a crowd so thirsty for a woman’s blood! I can’t say I blame them, though!

Tantalus smiles, but turns around and is instantly floored by a thunderous Baccaro clothesline. Baccaro then lifts Tantalus up and whips him into the corner hard, following him in with a huge splash. Tantalus stumbles forward, but the champion grabs him in a bearhug, and tries to break his ribs!

Troy: Oh no! He’s got him in a bearhug!

Hosemann: This isn’t little friendly hug either! Baccaro is a vicious, vicious man, and he is without a doubt trying to squeeze the life out of his Animosity challenger!

Baccaro squeezes the hold tightly, but Tantalus will not back down, and will not give in. With the fans fueling him, Tantalus rakes Baccaro’s eyes repeatedly until the champion breaks the hold! Then, with Baccaro’s sight limited, Tantalus goes to his corner and tags Showtime into the fray! Showtime enters and immediately downs Baccaro with a big left hand! Romeo enters and Showtime downs him with a hard left! Baccaro then charges at him, but Showtime takes him down with a big back body drop! Baccaro gets up again, and Showtime downs him with an axe kick!

Troy: Showtime is on fire!

Hosemann: He sure is!

Baccaro retreats to the corner and tags Romeo in. Showtime seems delighted at the opportunity to show Romeo just what he’s got this close to Animosity. The two lock up, and Romeo gains the initial advantage, shoving Showtime down to the mat hard. Showtime, however, pops right back up, looking to show Romeo that he won’t go down that easily. They lock up again, and this time, Showtime is able to cinch Romeo in a headlock. Romeo tries successfully to shove Showtime off and into the ropes, and Savage runs back at him, leapfrogging over and hitting the opposite ropes. From there, Romeo looks to catch him with a powerslam, but Showtime turns it into a tilt-a-whirl hurricanrana! The fans cheer loudly, but Magnifica quickly jumps onto the apron, getting referee Stevens’ attention. At this, Baccaro enters the ring and clubs Showtime down from behind with a hard forearm! The referee doesn’t see Baccaro’s illegal involvement, and Romeo now takes a firm hold of this bout. Romeo weakens Showtime with a big sidewalk slam, followed by a huge powerslam. Then, Romeo perches Showtime on the top rope, and virtually destroys him with a punishing superplex! Romeo covers… one, two, and Showtime just barely kicks out.

Troy: Romeo is in firm control here.

Hosemann: He is. Showtime needs to make a tag desperately.

Romeo bounces up, and decides that it is time to end this match. Da Playboi signals for the Dre Day Powerbomb, and the fans at Blue Cross Arena begin to boo dramatically. Romeo lifts Showtime up for the move, getting ready to smash him down with it, but Showtime counters into a hurricanrana and downs him hard! The fans come to their feet as Showtime inches toward Tantalus and the tag! However, Romeo is able to get the tag first, and tags Baccaro into the ring. Baccaro then runs at Showtime, but runs right past him and blasts Tantalus in the jaw with a right hand that knocks him off the apron, preventing Showtime from making a tag! Baccaro then whips Showtime into the corner and charges for a splash, but Showtime sidesteps him and Baccaro goes crashing into the turnbuckles! Showtime rolls Baccaro up… one, two, and Baccaro kicks out! Baccaro then whips Showtime off the ropes and hits the mat as Savage returns, but when Savage hits the ropes, Tantalus tags himself in unbeknownst to the champion! Showtime then leapfrogs over Baccaro, but gets caught on the rebound with a huge Baccaro powerslam. The champion then signals for the Baccaro Bomb, still not knowing that Showtime is not the legal man. Baccaro lifts Showtime for the move, but Tantalus slides into the ring, nails Baccaro with a quick low blow that the referee doesn’t see, causing Baccaro to drop Showtime, and rolls him up! One, two, three!

Troy: Yes! That’s it! Greg Tantalus has just pinned Jackie Baccaro!

Hosemann: Wow! Oh my! How sudden! Baccaro is in shock!

The fans go nuts as “Hey You” replays over the speakers and Tantalus and Showtime quickly slide out of the ring. Romeo, Magnifica, and most of all, Baccaro, are livid inside the ring, screaming at their Animosity opponents to come back to the ring as Tantalus and Showtime make the popular exit. Baccaro goes ballistic in the ring and Magnifica tries to calm him down, while hiding her own anger.

Troy: Scott, I think Greg Tantalus has just proven that he can pin the champion! Now, with Lauren Tantalus in his corner this Saturday night, we just might see a new champion crowned!

Hosemann: It certainly isn’t outlandish to suggest it,
Troy! Tantalus has pinned him once; who says he can’t do it again this Saturday?

Troy: Unbelievable! What a night, folks, and it’s not over yet! We’ll be right back!
* WINNERS VIA PINFALL: GREG TANTALUS & SHOWTIME DAMON SAVAGE *

-- COMMERCIAL BREAK --

As we return, we are taken to the backstage area, where Jason Calysto and PWA CEO Kerry Cox are loosening up for their upcoming tag team bout against Bryan Conroy and Mike Troha.

Calysto: You nervous?

Cox: About tonight? Nah. About Saturday? I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little nervous. And in my position, anybody would.

Calysto: That’s true. Well, if this is your last night on Frequency, I just wanted to thank you for the great job you’ve done.

Cox: Save it. No talking like that. I’m gonna win on Saturday, just like we’re gonna win here tonight. Let’s go do this thing.

Cox then exits, pumped, and Calysto follows.

A video package then airs on the Jumbotron, hyping the intense match that will take place this Saturday night at Animosity between Solomon and Briggs. The video, set to the show’s theme song, “Jambi” by TOOL, showcases their feud, which began last summer, through Everlasting Epic IV, and Walking Wounded, when Solomon put Briggs on the shelf, up until Briggs’ recent re-emergence, which has led to this bout at Animosity. As the package ends, we head to commercial break.

-- COMMERCIAL BREAK --

TOOL’s “Jambi” hits the speakers and we see a graphic appear on the screen that reads “PWA Animosity Report.”  From there, the shot takes us to a backstage set and PWA reporter Ron O'Brien, who is standing in front of a backdrop featuring the Animosity logo.

O'Brien:  Hello ladies and gentlemen, my name is Ron O'Brien and this is the Animosity report.  The Progressive Wrestling

-- COMMERCIAL BREAK --

Back from commercial, “Arcarsenal” by At the Drive-In blares onto the speakers, and a largely negative reaction meets The Miracle Mike Troha as he makes his way to the ring. Troha doesn’t react in any way, positively or negatively, as he enters the ring and prepares for battle. Moments later, “Sad But True” by Metallica hits the speakers, and the fans burst into raucous jeers as Bryan Conroy makes his way to the ring, alongside his manager Helen Summers. The two make their way to the ring, and Summers pauses on the outside while Conroy joins his cousin in the ring. As Conroy and Troha begin to talk strategy in the ring, “War Machine” by KISS explodes onto the speakers, and the fans give an exceptionally warm ovation to the CEO of this company, Kerry Cox, as he heads to the ring. Cox pauses at the foot of the ramp, and seconds later, “F*ckin in the Bushes” by Oasis blares onto the speakers, and The Iceman Jason Calysto makes his way to the ring to a thunderous ovation! Calysto meets Cox at the foot of the ramp, and the two slide into the ring and immediately begin going at it with Troha and Conroy as the bell sounds!

Troy: Alright here we go!

Hosemann: This match should be fast and furious, Troy! With the energy already in this ring, I can’t imagine it going to long!

Troy: It better not, Scott, because we’re fast running out of time tonight!

* THE ICEMAN JASON CALYSTO & KERRY COX VS. THE MIRACLE MIKE TROHA & BRYAN CONROY *
Referee: Matt Hansen
Chaos ensues in the early going of the match, with all four men brawling incessantly, and referee Hansen trying desperately to gain some semblance of control. Finally, Calysto and Troha are removed from the ring, and we are left with Bryan Conroy and Kerry Cox slugging it out with everything they’ve got in the middle of the squared circle!

Troy: Look at these two go!

Hosemann: They will do battle this Friday night in the third round of the Golden Ring tournament, but it will be for all the marbles on Saturday night at Animosity! Full control of the PWA is on the line, as is full control of the Golden Ring tournament and Bryan Conroy’s career! There’s no turning back!

Troy: And judging by the way these two are pounding the hell out of each other, I don’t think either would want to!

Cox takes Conroy down with a hard clothesline, and downs him with a big dropkick as he gets to his feet! Conroy slides out of the ring for a breather, but Cox follows him to the outside and continues his beating, slugging him with hard rights and lefts, and smashing his head into the steel barricade on the outside! Mike Troha then runs over and blasts Cox in the spine, pounding away on him! Then, Calysto joins the fray, and an all-out war breaks out on the outside! Referee Matt Hansen screams at everyone to get back into the ring and continue the match, but no one is listening! Cox and Conroy then each grab steel chairs as Calysto and Troha continue to brawl with each other, and seeing this, Hansen calls for the bell!

Troy: I think Hansen has thrown this match out!

Hosemann: How could you not?! This match was a lost cause right from the get-go, but this brawl still rages on!
* WINNERS: NO CONTEST *

Cox and Conroy enter the ring with their chairs and smack them against each other, as if engaged in a duel! Troha then enters the ring and tackles Cox to the mat and holds him there! Calysto enters, but Conroy smacks him right in the skull with the steel chair! With Calysto down, Conroy tells Troha to lift Cox up and hold him back for him to nail with the chair. However, right before Conroy plasters him with the chair, Helen Summers enters the ring and begs Conroy to let her nail Cox with it instead. Conroy obliges, but as Summers yells at Cox and threatens to use the chair, the commissioner, Paul Ferrara storms down the aisle with a chair of his own! The fans cheer thunderously as Ferrara swings the chair wildly at Helen, who quickly flees the ring! Ferrara then cracks Troha in the back with it, leading Troha to duck out of the ring as well! Seeing this, Conroy escapes under the bottom rope and flees alongside Troha and Helen. Cox and Calysto now get to their feet and, with Ferrara, they hold their chairs high, prompting the fans to cheer loudly! “War Machine” booms throughout the arenas Conroy, Troha, and Summers are left furious on the outside.

Troy: It looks like Kerry Cox will carry the momentum, Scott!

Hosemann: As will Jason Calysto!

Troy: So much can happen, folks, but the only way to find out what does is to order Animosity, live on pay-per-view, this Saturday night! Folks, for Superstar Scott Hosemann, I’m Victor Troy, saying goodnight, everybody! See you Saturday night in
Edmonton for Animosity!
