TUESDAY, MAY 2, 2006 * BLUE CROSS ARENA * ROCHESTER, NEW YORK

A video package airs, highlighting events that took place last week, with Lauren Tantalus making her return to Frequency in Paris, France last week as a visitor of her brother Greg, only for the PWA Champion Jackie Baccaro and Magnifica to arrive and verbally berate her. Then, later in the show, in the aftermath of a tag team match pitting Baccaro and Briggs against Greg and Solomon, Lauren ran down to ringside to come to the aid of her brother. From there, “By_Myslf” by Linkin Park hits and the opening credits roll, after which we are sent inside the Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, New York, where a dazzling pyrotechnics display ensues and we send it down to our commentators, Victor Troy and Superstar Scott Hosemann!

Troy: Hello everyone, and welcome to PWA Frequency! I’m Victor Troy, along here with Superstar Scott Hosemann, and we are ready for another action-packed edition of this show, just four days away from Animosity, live on pay-per-view!

Hosemann: That’s right,
Troy! Tonight will be the last opportunity for people seeking a leg up to do so, and I’m sure there are plenty of individuals looking to do exactly that.

Troy: We have two big main events for you tonight, folks, both of which should provide great previews to some of the bigger matches coming to you this Saturday night from Rexall Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. First, we will see the PWA Champion Jackie Baccaro team up with former kingpin Romeo to take on number one contender Greg Tantalus and the International Champion Showtime Damon Savage!

Hosemann: That should be something else!

Troy: And from there, folks, we’re not done. We will see the CEO of this company, Kerry Cox, in what could be his final night in that position, team up with one of the greatest champions this company has ever seen, the Iceman Jason Calysto, to take on the team of former owner Bryan Conroy and his cousin, The Miracle Mike Troha!

Hosemann: That match will be all about positioning, and sending a message for Animosity, so I’m anxious to see what happens in that one.

Troy: As am I, Scott, but we have a lot more action coming to you tonight, and we’re going to start it off with some action, so without any further adieu, let’s head right down to ringside!

Muse’s “Stockholm Syndrome” blasts onto the speakers to start us off tonight, and the upstate New York crowd responds favorably as the English duo of Paul Epton and former Progressive Champion John Wolfe makes its way to the ring for tag team action. The two stretch out in the ring as they await their opposition, and they aren’t made to wait long. Moments later, “Dance of the Warrior” blares onto the speakers, and Soaring Phoenix makes his way to the ring, to a heavily mixed reaction. Phoenix slowly and cautiously enters the ring and eyes his opposition for the night, staring respectfully at Wolfe, as Epton glares angrily at him. Then, “Marriage of Figaro” by Mozart hits the speakers, and the fans begin booing raucously as the Progressive Champion Dexter P. Wellington emerges from behind the curtain, alongside butler Winston, and begins making his way to the ring. Wellington finally reaches the ring, and hands referee Jose Soares his belt, who in turn signals for the bell to be rung to start this match.

Troy: Alright folks, this should be quite the interesting match to start us off here tonight. Epton and Wolfe have both had their problems separately with Wellington and Phoenix, and this Saturday at Animosity,
Wellington and Phoenix will compete for the Progressive Championship.

Hosemann: Very true, Troy, and it will be interesting to see how the two of them can work together as they approach their championship match at the end of this week.

* PAUL EPTON & JOHN WOLFE VS. PWA PROGRESSIVE CHAMPION DEXTER P. WELLINGTON & SOARING PHOENIX *
Referee: Jose Soares
Wellington chooses to start the match, and he does so against the man he both lost and won the Progressive Championship from, John Wolfe.
Wellington and Wolfe lock up in the center of the ring, and it appears that Wolfe is establishing a bit of an early advantage, but Wellington responds with a well placed thumb to the eye that backs Wolfe up. Wellington then takes advantage of the situation, downing Wolfe with a hard clothesline. Wellington proceeds to pound on Wolfe with hard stomps as he remains grounded, and as Wolfe does approach his feet, Wellington grabs him and whips him hard into the corner. The Progressive Champion charges at him, looking for a splash, but Wolfe sees him coming and gets a foot up, nailing Wellington in the face and staggering him! Wolfe then grabs Wellington and blasts Wellington with a hard sidewalk slam!

Troy: And Wolfe has taken the advantage!

Hosemann: He has,
Troy, but he should probably make a tag here and get the fresh man in with Wellington grounded.

Wolfe does exactly that, making his way to his corner and tagging Paul Epton into the fray. Wellington gets to his feet, looking to make a tag, but Epton takes him down with a hard armdrag! Wellington gets to his feet, and Epton downs him with a big dropkick! Wellington then crawls back to his corner and tags in Soaring Phoenix. Epton, who is not bashful in his hatred of Phoenix, beckons him into the ring. Phoenix smiles, and locks up with Epton in the center of the ring. Phoenix shoves Epton into the ropes and tries to nail him with a clothesline as he returns, but Epton ducks under it, hits the opposite ropes, and takes Phoenix down with a hard hurricanrana! Phoenix is slow to his feet, and Epton is smiling as he gets up, begging for more. Phoenix gets up again, and charges at him, looking for a tilt-a-whirl hurricanrana, but Phoenix sees it coming, and is able to turn it into a huge powerslam! Epton is slow to his feet, but when he gets up, Phoenix grabs him by the throat and downs him with a huge chokeslam! Phoenix covers… one, two, three!

Troy: And there it is! Soaring Phoenix pins Paul Epton once again, and Wellington and Phoenix have won this thing!

Hosemann: And once again, Troy,
Phoenix and Wolfe have avoided having to go at it!

Wolfe and Phoenix stare each other down as Wolfe enters the ring to check on Epton, neither man making a move. However, as Phoenix has his back turned and is focused on Wolfe, Wellington enters the ring with the Progressive belt, and cracks Phoenix in the back of the head with it! The fans boo as “Marriage of Figaro” hits and Wellington quickly exits. Wolfe glares at Wellington as the champion escapes, his Animosity challenger face-down on the mat as we head to commercial.

Troy: Well Scott, it looks like Wellington will be carrying the momentum into Animosity!

Hosemann: It certainly does! Soaring
Phoenix had better get his mind off John Wolfe and focused on Dex Wellington by Saturday if he wants to become Progressive Champion!

Troy: He certainly should! Folks, we’ll be right back!
* WINNERS VIA PINFALL: DEXTER P. WELLINGTON & SOARING PHOENIX *

-- COMMERCIAL BREAK --

Back from break, “Hey You” by Simon Says blasts onto the speakers, and the fans immediately begin cheering wildly as Greg Tantalus makes his way down to the ring. Tantalus wastes no time grabbing a microphone and stepping into the ring to address his public.

Tantalus: In four days, I finally get the opportunity I have deserved and that I have had coming to me since the day the championship was stolen away from me at Revival, the opportunity to gain revenge on Jackie Baccaro and become, for the fourth time, the PWA World Heavyweight Champion. However, given what happened last week, I realized something. No matter what I do, I will have to deal with the looming spectacle of Magnifica standing at ringside. Now, I am sure I can beat Jackie Baccaro straight up. I know I am better than him. But with Magnifica at ringside, I will be constantly having to look over my shoulder, constantly having to worry about what she’s going to do, or how she’s going to try to screw me out of my victory. So, I started thinking, and I got an idea. This Saturday night, when I go head-to-head with Jackie Baccaro for the PWA Championship, I will have someone in my corner, someone to counteract you, Magnifica. And that person will be my sister, Lauren Tantalus! (crowd cheers) That’s right. I am going to fly my sister in from London to Edmonton on Saturday, and she will be at ringside for my title match, making sure that I get a fair shake, and that I get an equal and even chance to become the PWA Champion. So, what this…

Suddenly, “Things Done Changed” by Notorious BIG blares onto the speakers, and the fans begin booing vociferously as the PWA Champion Jackie Baccaro and Magnifica make their way to the ring. Neither of them looks particularly annoyed or flustered at Greg’s announcement as they head to the ring, first grabbing a microphone, and then entering the ring.

Magnifica: You must think you’re real clever, don’t you Greg? Do you really think that having your sister at ringside this Saturday at Animosity is going to make all that much of a difference in the grand scheme of things? Do you think that will make you any better positioned to win the world championship from Jackie Baccaro, the greatest champion this company has ever seen? If you do, then more power to you. But I, for one, am not taking any stock at a crippled ex-Women’s Champion standing in your corner, supposedly to counteract myself, the greatest Women’s Champion in the history of this business.

Tantalus: If you want to keep telling yourself that she’s crippled and can’t do anything to help me, go right ahead. But I know something you don’t know in that department, and if you knew it, you might be just a bit more flustered than you are now.

Magnifica: Stop trying to bait me. What’s the information? Tell me, or don’t tell me, but just don’t try to bait me.

Tantalus: I think I’ll leave it at this: I chose my sister to be in my corner because I wanted a person who was going to be able to stand up to you and make sure I got a fair shake in my championship match on Saturday. And after recent conversations with her, I am fully confident that she will be able to do exactly that at Animosity.

Baccaro: Listen Tantalus, your little mind games aren’t going to work on us here. You want us to be so afraid of the fact that your sister is coming to Animosity, but you forget that I’m the guy who knocked her the hell out of the PWA in the first place. And you know what? I’m sick of all this talking. I’m here, you’re here. Why not give everyone a little Animosity preview right now?

Tantalus: That’s the best idea I’ve heard all day.

With that, Tantalus rears back and nails Baccaro in the jaw with a hard right hand! The two begin exchanging fists rapidly, and Magnifica tries to get in on the action, but Tantalus is able to fend her off as well! Then, suddenly, Romeo darts down the aisle and clubs Tantalus down from behind! Baccaro, Romeo, and Magnifica now begin to do a number on Tantalus until the International Champion Showtime Damon Savage darts down the aisle! Showtime fights off Romeo and Baccaro, and when Tantalus gets back to his feet, the two clear the ring of their opponents later tonight and Magnifica! The fans cheer wildly as Tantalus and Showtime stand in the ring, and Baccaro, Magnifica, and Romeo stand frustrated on the outside!

Troy: What a match this is going to be later on tonight!

Hosemann: It sure will! We got a little Animosity preview just now, but we’re going to get a much larger one coming up later tonight!

Troy: Will we ever! Folks, we’ll be right back!

-- COMMERCIAL BREAK --

Back from commercial, the camera shows The Miracle Mike Troha loosening up for his match later tonight in the backstage area. As he prepares, he is approached by his cousin Bryan Conroy, who is already dressed for tonight’s match, and his manager Helen Summers.

Conroy: You ready?

Troha: I’m getting there.

Conroy: Good. You know, I didn’t personally request this match for no reason.

Troha: This was your idea?

Conroy: Of course it was. I’ve seen something in you lately, Troha. It’s that fire in your eyes that I haven’t seen burn since before your injury at Everlasting Epic III. You’re starting to get it back, and I want to see you harness it. I want to see you again become that evil bastard you were before, the evil bastard who helped try to run me out of business two years ago. Because even though we were on opposing sides then, you were at the absolute top of your game. NO ONE could touch you. You were the PWA Champion, and you were, quite simply, the man. Now, even though this could possibly be the last time I make an appearance here on Frequency, I want us to go out there tonight and harness what it is that you have deep down inside you and may have lost. Let’s go out there tonight and take Jason Calysto and Kerry Cox out, and send them a message loud and clear that we will not be denied at Animosity.

Troha: That’s all well and good, but I have one question. If and when you defeat Kerry Cox this weekend and regain control of this company, will you still be this nice to me? Because I could certainly use some friends in high places, if you know what I’m saying.

Conroy: Trust me, Troha, you’ll be well looked after.

Helen: We can guarantee it.

The room is now all smiles, and Conroy and Troha shake hands as the shot fades.

Back at ringside, “We Who Are Not as Others” by Sepultura blares onto the speakers, and the fans begin booing thunderously as Bishop Cross, Reaper, and Loki -- the Army of the Damned in full -- make their way to the ring. Cross grabs a microphone, and as the boos slowly die down, begins to speak.

Cross: On Saturday night, a day will come that I, personally, never thought would. Three pathetic specimens that I thought buried and beaten will team together to try to topple the single most dominant force this industry has ever seen. Scythe, you should have realized a long time ago that I am not a man to be toyed with. I am not a man one should try his luck with. The Army of the Damned does not take kindly to such challenges. You have received beatings on our behalf, and on Saturday at Animosity, you will indeed suffer another, one so deadly that it will dwarf all others that we have dished out previously. GI Jew, you are the perennial thorn in our side. Almost since our inception a year ago, you have been there, willing to fight us tooth and nail. However, I must report that it is now growing old, and we are tired of beating on you. So, at Animosity, we will make sure it is our final battle. We will finish this job, and we will put you out for good. That brings us to you, Speed Demon. Of all the people I never expected to see again for the remainder of my miserable, evil life, you were right at the top of the list. We destroyed your pathetic girlfriend Dana Chapman, rendering her useless. How is old Dana these days anyway? We know the state she’s in, but we’ll give you the opportunity to tell these people yourself. That is, if you want to come out here tonight and do it. Because after Animosity, you’re not going to have the ability to. We destroyed her, and then you kept coming back for more. We scarred you, and you came back again. Then we left you for dead about six months ago, and yet here you are back again. It’s getting old, Speed Demon. And at Animosity, we are going to do what we should have done along. We are going to leave no survivors. All three of you will fall before us, and will fall for good. We have bigger plans for this company than the destruction of you three. You three are standing in our way, and we will not allow it. This will be the end of the road. This will be…

Suddenly, GI Jew and Scythe dart down to the ring separately and begin brawling with the members of Army of the Damned! The Rochester crowd cheers wildly at the brawl, and Jew and Scythe are able to gain a momentary advantage against the lecherous trio, until the numbers game finally catches up to them. However, moments later, the lights go out, and the fans begin cheering thunderously! When the lights go on a moment later, Speed Demon is standing in the ring, brandishing a crowbar! Demon wields the weapon wildly at the three Army members, who flee quickly! The Army barely looks back as they exit to the back, and Jew, Scythe, and Speed Demon stand tall in the ring! With that, “Determined” by Mudvayne blares onto the speakers, and the fans continue their heavy cheering!

Troy: Scott, I think the Army of the Damned may have bitten off more than they can chew here!

Hosemann: Well
Troy, they’re going to have to deal with the three men who probably hate them more than anyone else in that locker room, all at once! I’ve gotta say, I don’t like the Army’s chances!

Troy: I can’t say that I do either! Folks, we’ll be right back!

-- COMMERCIAL BREAK --

Back from break, “Parabola” by TOOL blasts onto the speakers, and the fans begin booing loudly as Justin Schenck leads Hollywood Mike Griffin to the ring. Ignoring the jeers of the crowd, Griffin makes his way to the ring and enters it, stretching himself out on the ring ropes as he awaits his competition. Next, “More Human Than Human” by White Zombie hits, and The Alpha Greg Price, another Legacy member and Schenck protégé, makes his way out to a large amount of boos. Price positions himself in the ring and, moments later, “Piggy Bank” by G-Unit hits and the fans cheer wildly as co-holder of the PWA Tag Team Championship Renegade makes his way to the ring for this triple threat contest.

Troy: Alright folks, last week, in preparation for our triple threat tag team championship match at Animosity this Saturday, pitting the champions Renegade and Paul Dawkins against both Mike Griffin and Infernus AND Alpha Omega, we saw a triple threat match between Infernus, The Omega Steve Beovich, and Dawkins, which Beovich won. Tonight, the other three participants will engage in triple threat action, and if it’s anything like last week, Renegade is in for a long night.

Hosemann: It’s true,
Troy, but it’s not going to be much different come Saturday night. Renegade and Dawkins are going to have an uphill battle to fight, and they might as well get some practice now.

* TRIPLE THREAT MATCH: PWA TAG TEAM CHAMPION RENEGADE VS. HOLLYWOOD MIK E GRIFFIN VS. THE ALPHA GREG PRICE *
Referee: Billy Vargas
The bell sounds and, predictably, Griffin and Price go right after Renegade, pounding away on him violently. Price wears Renegade down with some stiff shots to the head, and with Renegade weakened, Griffin grabs him and launches him with a thunderous release German suplex! Griffin then goes after Renegade with several stiff stomps, and Price locks him in his Boston crab signature maneuver.

Troy: Renegade is in more trouble, faster than I even anticipated!

Hosemann: It’s quite the ordeal for anyone to go through,
Troy, to be faced with a two-on-one situation and very little to do to work your way out of it.

Hollywood continues to stomp away on Renegade as he writhes in Price’s hold. At long last, Renegade is able to reach the ropes, but the damage to his lower back has already been done in a huge way. Price releases the hold, and Griffin begins peppering Renegade in the back with hard, fast elbow smashes. Griffin then lifts him off the mat, and nails him in the spine with a hard forearm, followed by his trademark rolling German suplexes, nailing nine of them before bridging… one, two, and Renegade just barely gets a shoulder up!

Troy: Look at this! Renegade is a fighter! He is not giving in!

Hosemann: Well
Troy, he may not be quick to give in, but he sure has a long way to go before he’s out of the woods.

Undaunted, Griffin has Price lift Renegade up for a powerbomb, and Griffin spikes him down hard. Hollywood then climbs to the top rope, and unloads on Renegade with a beautiful high diving moonsault! Griffin hooks the leg… one, two, three.

Troy: And that does it.

Hosemann: A two-on-one handicap is a nearly insurmountable ordeal for most human beings,
Troy, especially in there against two athletes the caliber of Mike Griffin and Greg Price. But again, Troy, this just underscores the severity of this situation for the tag team champions, and points out just how deeply in jeopardy those titles are come this Saturday.

Troy: You know Scott, I didn’t want to believe it at first, but you’re absolutely right. Steve Beovich pinned Paul Dawkins last week, and Mike Griffin has just pinned Renegade right here. The Tag Team Champions are in trouble, and if they don’t figure something out by Saturday night, the titles are going back to the Legacy in some way at Animosity!

The fans boo raucously as “Parabola” replays and Griffin, Price, and Schenck exit in tandem. Schenck looks very pleased as they exit, with Renegade writhing on the mat as we take a commercial break.
* WINNER VIA PINFALL:
HOLLYWOOD MIKE GRIFFIN *
