ARENA
SEGMENT 1: INTRODUCTION:
A video package airs, highlighting the 21-man battle royal that
saw Romeo emerge victorious and earn himself a spot in the Seven Deadly Sins
match for the PWA World Heavyweight Championship January 22 at Forsaken. The opening credits roll immediately as
Ferrara: That’s right, Troy, because
tonight, Jaguar will make his first televised title defense, when he puts the
gold on the line against Superstar Scott Hosemann!
Hosemann: He did
Troy: We’re gonna see that and much more
here tonight, but let’s get right to the ring for our opening contest!
SEGMENT 2: MATCH 1:
THE NATURALS VS. DEAN NASH & DAMIEN FIELDS:
Referee:
Jose Soares
The murmuring of the crowd ceases when Metallica’s
“Ride The Lightning” suddenly plays. Damien Fields
steps out from behind the curtain to greet the cheers that await him. He walks
down the ramp and rolls into the ring, posing briefly before “Spitfire” by The
Prodigy hits, prompting Dean Nash to emerge from the curtain. He tags the
outstretched hands of the ringside audience before stepping into the ring and
pounding fists with his tag team partner. The crowd continues to wish them
victory until “Control” by Earshot plays, and The Naturals appear for the
audience to heckle.
Ferrara: And not only that, Troy, but the winners of
this match are guaranteed a shot at the Lost Souls’ titles at Forsaken!
With Justin Schenck behind them, The Naturals slide into
the ring and the two teams engage in a stare down. Anthony steps onto the apron
while Fields does the same, leaving Price and Nash to start the match. The bell
sounds, and the two wrestlers circle the ring and lock up in the center. Price
muscles Nash into a neutral corner, and when the referee calls for a break,
Price backs up, but only to strike Nash hard across the chest. The fans cringe
as Price batters him once more before launching him into the opposite
turnbuckle. Nash hits it hard, but when Price charges in, Nash leaves an
imprint of his boot across Price’s face! Price stumbles back, and Nash runs
forward and paints the canvas with Price’s head with a Bulldog! The crowd
cheers as both men struggle to reach their respective corners.
Price manages to tag Anthony’s hand, and as he bulldozes his way into the ring,
Nash makes contact with Fields! He stampedes into the ring and clotheslines
Anthony to the ground! Anthony quickly returns to his feet, but Fields mows him
down with another clothesline, and then follows it up with a face buster!
Fields waits for Anthony to stand up, but Schenck finds it necessary to climb
onto the apron. Fields notices it, but oddly enough, Schenck quickly leaps off.
Speed Demon and Reaper flood the ring from opposite sides and quickly dispose
of Price and Nash while they were recovering on the apron. The Lost Souls climb
into the ring and proceed to annihilate Fields in a two-on-one assault. The
referee calls for the bell, but that doesn’t stop Reaper from stomping on
Anthony’s fallen body. Schenck retreats up the ramp before the Lost Souls can
set their sights on him.
Ferrara: On the contrary,
"A Violent Reaction" by American Head Charge
begins to play as the Lost Souls stand tall amongst the carnage that they
created. The fans shower them with boos as we head to a commercial break.

SEGMENT 3: BACKSTAGE:
Back from commercial, we are backstage with Mike Grieco and Dee
Licious.
Grieco:
So you forgive me for last week?
Grieco: I know. I’m just really tense right now, with losing
the International title and all. Last
time I lost it, I had the benefit of sitting at home for a while to rest up an
injury. Now I’m on the road all the time
and I’m just getting really frustrated.
I really need you to understand and to be there for me.
Grieco: I’m really glad to hear that.
Grieco: Yeah, I thought that would be
really good for us. Give us a chance to
share something, a mixed tag team match against Paul Dawkins and Liz Rush. And it’ll give me a chance to get back to my
winning ways and hopefully become the PWA World Champion sooner than later.
Grieco: Alright babe, we’re up next, go get ready.
The two then kiss and
SEGMENT 4: RINGSIDE:
"War Machine" by KISS plays,
and the crowd gives it up as Commissioner Kerry Cox steps down the ramp to make
his way into the ring. Upon his entrance, he adjusts his familiar clip-on tie
and grabs a microphone.
Cox: Alright guys, this is a very rare occurrence. Being
here live in Mexico for Frequency is a great experience and I want you people
to enjoy our action that we have in store for you, so I'm going to make this
real short and sweet. About the Seven Deadly Sins match that in headline
Forsaken, so far, we have two men in. The first one I'd like to mention is the
winner of last week's battle royal, and his name is Romeo. (Crowd cheers)
Romeo's position in that matchup cannot change, as he
won last week's match to guarantee him a spot. The second man I will mention is
the current PWA Champion, Jaguar. (Crowd cheers) Jaguar has already been
entered into the match, but I'd like to clarify one thing. Jaguar has been
entered into the match because the PWA Champion must defend the championship in
it. That's not saying he wouldn't be in it regardless, as he has never missed a
Seven Deadly Sins match and is the only man to do so, but if he should lose the
PWA Championship before January 22nd, the new PWA Champion would step into his
spot and Jaguar would receive a rematch for the title against whomever exits
the Seven Deadly Sins match as champion. Scott Hosemann has that opportunity
tonight. Now onto the final six participants. The first isn't one of my
favorites, but as the former World Heavyweight Champion, Solomon must be
included into the match, no matter how he was eliminated last week. Due to his
impressive win over Bishop Cross at Revival and his last run as champion,
Scythe will enter his first Seven Deadly Sins match this year. Speaking of
impressive performances, a submission win over Infernus at Revival and coming
this close to winning the battle royal last week means that The Iceman Jason
Calysto is a shoo-in to participate as well. Watching the matchup
at Revival between Mike Griffin and Greg Tantalus, I couldn't decide which man
to enter. Sure, Mike Griffin won the match, but not without Greg being
screwed royally in it. I cannot reverse a decision there, but I can make things
right by entering both of those men into the match. That leaves seven men in,
with only one spot remaining. I could look at the last man to be eliminated
from the battle royal, which is Anthony Failla. (Crowd boos) He had an
impressive showing, but he was just beaten inside a steel cage at Revival by GI
Jew, and it will be him who takes the final spot in the Seven Deadly Sins
match! (Crowd cheers)
Cox: So to recap, the eight men in the Seven Deadly Sins
match will be Romeo, Jaguar, Solomon, Scythe, Jason Calysto, Greg Tantalus,
Mike Griffin, and--
Before Cox can finish, "Shootouts" by Jadakiss and Styles P hits and out marches an angry Anthony
Failla. He rolls into the ring and grabs a microphone, getting right in front
of The Commissioner.
Failla: What a crock of shit Kerry! (Crowd boos) Please,
you losers can't understand what I'm saying anyway. Now Kerry, you saw what I
did to those men in the battle royal last week. If it wasn't for that lowlife
Romeo hanging out behind me, I would have taken the spot outright! What makes
GI Jew any better than me?
Cox: He just beat you clean as ever at Revival.
Failla: He didn't pin me though.
Cox: And your point is?
Failla: He didn't pin me in the match, so what makes him
better than me? I've never lost a Seven Deadly Sins match, I've got to be the
choice.
Cox: He didn't have to pin you! The rules clearly stated
that the only way to win was to escape the cage, which he did and you did not.
There was no controversy like there was with
Cox tosses the microphone down and exits the ring as "War
Machine" replays. The crowd loudly boos as Failla also exits, feeling
relieved that he has a second chance.

SEGMENT 5: MATCH 2:
MIKE GRIECO & DEE LICIOUS VS. PAUL DAWKINS & LIZ RUSH:
Referee:
Billy Vargas
50 Cent’s “Da Repercussions” prompts the
crowd to heckle the former International Champion. Mike Grieco steps out to a
wave boos as he walks down the ramp with Dee Licious for mixed tag team action.
Looking rather perturbed without the gold that he became so accustomed to
wearing, Grieco steps into the ring and climbs onto the turnbuckles, angrily
shouting out into the crowd.
Grieco quickly returns to his feet, but is taken right off
them with an arm drag! Dawkins follows it up with another, until Grieco is
taken aback and fumbles into a corner to slow down the pace.
Dawkins rushes in, but Grieco bursts out of the corner with an elbow to the
face. Dawkins stumbles back, but Grieco lifts him up high and holds out a knee,
dropping him on it for an atomic buster. Dawkins falls to the ground, and
Grieco gains firm control. He moves over to Dawkins and tauntingly kicks him in
the back of the head, and the crowd boos violently at the former International
Champion.
Grieco peels Dawkins off the mat and whips him into the ropes, then wraps both
arms around Dawkins on his return before sending him soaring overhead with a
belly-to-belly suplex. Dawkins struggles to get to a knee, but Grieco crushes
him with a double axe handle. He lifts Dawkins back up and sets him in position
for a powerbomb.
Grieco lifts Dawkins up onto his shoulders, but Dawkins instinctively pounds Grieco’s head in. Grieco eventually drops Dawkins, and now
with the upper hand, Dawkins sets up Grieco for the M.O.A.B.! Grieco violently
kicks around in the move, but Dawkins plasters him against the canvas!
Baccaro stomps on Dawkins on the outside, and the referee calls for the bell to
end this match. Although it rings several times, the assault does not end.
Grieco eventually slides out of the ring to assist Baccaro in the dismantling
of Dawkins. Liz Rush jumps on Grieco’s back, trying
to stop the assault, but Grieco grabs her by the hair and viciously flings her
off, sending Liz crashing hard to the mat!

SEGMENT 6: BACKSTAGE:
A camera is set in the locker room of The Legacy, where
Justin Schenck and company are looking focused.
Schenck: That's not how you kick the night off gentlemen!
We had Nash and Fields right where we wanted them, but we couldn’t finish the
job! I know the Lost Souls ruined the
match and didn’t give either team an opportunity to claim the victory, but we need
that shot at the tag titles at Forsaken.
I’ll work on getting that accomplished myself a little later tonight,
but our job here isn't done… or should I say my job here isn't done. Kris,
Darrin, Greg, why don't you all take five? I need to talk to Scott alone for a
minute.
Giles: Sure thing Justin.
They make their exit as Hosemann looks at Schenck confused.
Schenck: Have a seat Scott. Do you remember what I said
last week about finishing things?
Hosemann: Yeah. You said it’s not how you start, its how
you finish.
Schenck: Exactly. What happened out there with the
Naturals was just our beginning. Your match tonight would bring the sweetest
ending possible. Just think back a little bit Scott. Are you happy right now?
Hosemann: Uhhh...
Schenck: No. No, you're not happy right now Scott, and I can
tell you why. Just think back Scott, think back to Everlasting Epic. Not 2 or
3, think back to the first one, in Madison Square Garden. You
main evented that night Scott. You gave Jason
Calysto the fight of his life and he barely, barely beat you
to become the first PWA World Heavyweight Champion. You took that loss
on the chin and do you know why Scott? Because you just knew you were going to
get another opportunity, or so said that slimeball
Jerry Georgatos. But where were your chances Scott?
Where were your title shots? They didn't come, did they? No, instead, guys like
Vulture, Mike Griffin, Greg Tantalus, The Machine,
Jaguar, they got your title shots! Title shots that you deserved and never got
due to bad leadership! Well that bad leadership is gone now. I have pulled the
strings to get you your long overdue title shot right here tonight in
Hosemann: Jaguar.
Schenck: So now let me ask you this. What's holding you
back from doing it again tonight?
Schenck doesn't say another word, instead backing up and leaving
the room. Hosemann is alone and the camera gets behind him, showing him staring
directly into a mirror as the shot cuts into the locker room of The Hot
Boy$.
SEGMENT 7: BACKSTAGE:
Jaguar: (Looking at
the television) I can't believe this cat. Saying he took the PWA Title from me.
He won a stupid six man tag and never pinned me to win it, and I wouldn't have
lost it if it wasn't for--
Jaguar's words stop once the door opens and Romeo walks in.
Romeo: That would be me, my bad. You know that was a long
time ago.
Jaguar: Sure was. So what's goin
on?
Romeo: Nothin at all bro. I'm not
active tonight after winning that battle royal last week like I said I
would, but I've got a question.
Jaguar: Go ahead.
Romeo: If I went ahead and won the battle royal, whats the deal with Hosemann getting the first title shot
on Frequency?
Jaguar: Dude, you know your spot in the Seven Deadly Sins
is iron-clad, mine isn't. I still have to defend the title against guys that
aren't in the match. You know that.
Romeo: (Laughing) Of course I do cuz,
I'm only breakin balls. Go out there and kick Hosemann's ass tonight.
Jaguar: No doubt. I'm gonna go hit the ring, I'll get at
you after the match.
Jaguar exits and heads for the ring as Romeo's grinning carries us
into a commercial break.

SEGMENT 8: MATCH 3:
PWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP:
JAGUAR © VS. SUPERSTAR SCOTT HOSEMANN:
Referee:
Matt Hansen
We return to the ring, where Lee Palmer is waiting with referee
Matt Hansen as Saliva's "Superstar II" hits.
Palmer: The following contest is scheduled for one fall
and it is for the PWA World Heavyweight Championship! Introducing first, the
challenger. Representing The Legacy and being led to
the ring by Justin Schenck, from
Hosemann and Schenck walk down the ramp to a chorus of jeers, but
both men know this is perhaps the biggest matchup of
their collective careers as they near the ring. Hosemann looks extremely fired
up as he hits the ring and poses on all four turnbuckles, probably a direct
product of Schenck's pep talk a few moments earlier.
But no one in the building can even hear themselves talk once "Real
Big" by Cash Money's Mannie Fresh begins.
Palmer: And his opponent, from Jacksonville, Florida,
weighing 253 pounds, he is the PWA Heavyweight Champion of The Worrrrrrld, this....is.....Jaaaaaaaguarrrrrr!
Jaguar steps out to a massive ovation from the crowd and he points
to each side of the arena before standing in front of his fiery pyrotechnics.
The motivated Hosemann can't wait to start things off and does so by leaving
the ring to brawl with Jaguar on the ramp!
Hosemann reels off a flurry of shots, but it is Jaguar who wins
the fisticuffs by knocking him down with a big, taped right hand. Hosemann
rolls back into the ring first and Jaguar follows, but being in second gets him
a hard kneedrop to the back of the head.
Jaguar crawls over to a corner and Hosemann unloads on him,
stomping him out viciously to a loud set of boos as Hansen tries to break it
up.
Hosemann gets Jaguar off the mat and scoops him up before bodyslamming him down to the canvas. Instead of going for a
cover, Hosemann backs up to the ropes and comes back with an elbow that lands
right below the sternum of the champion! He covers for a two count before
grabbing Jaguar in a front facelock to wear him down.
Jaguar hits the mat and pumps his arms as the crowd tries to bring
him back into the match. Their Jaguar chants seem useless until the champion
gets to his knees and then his feet. He lifts Hosemann up for an attempt at a
Northern Lights Suplex, but his lower back cannot hold The Superstar's
252-pound frame. With no other option, Jaguar does manage to break the hold
with an inverted atomic drop and then follows it up with a quick DDT! Jaguar
covers and Hansen counts 1----2---and Hosemann kicks out!
Jaguar gets to his feet and hits Hosemann with two punches before
knocking him down with a third. Hosemann gets back up and walks right into a facebuster that smashes in his nose, sending Schenck into
action. As Jaguar goes up to the top rope for The Suga Splash, Schenck shakes
the top rope and Jaguar is straddled atop the turnbuckle! Hosemann gets to his
feet and sees the position Jaguar is in, so he climbs up to the top rope as
well and rattles Jaguar's spine with a thunderous superplex!
Hosemann finally finds the energy to drape an arm across the chest
of the champion and Hansen slaps the mat once, then twice, but not a third time
as Jaguar's shoulder shoots up from the mat!
Hosemann gets to his feet, readying himself for The Superstar
Stunner. Jaguar gets up and Hosemann kicks him in the gut and grabs him by the
neck, but Jaguar shoves him forward! Hosemann bounces off the ropes and into a
kick from Jaguar, who then follows up with a crushing Version 1.0 Stretch
Buster! Jaguar gets atop Hosemann and hooks the leg as Hansen counts
one...two...three!
Ferrara: These people are loving it, but what an effort by
Scott Hosemann tonight. It took a lot to beat him, but that is why Jaguar is
the man right now. The guy is on a roll!
"Real Big" hits again and Jaguar grabs his belt before
leaving up the ramp victorious. Justin Schenck climbs into the ring to check on
Hosemann, cursing the champion the entire time as we head to a break.
