Segment 1 – Opening

The PWA logo flashes onto the screen and the opening for Overdrive begins. “All My Life” by The Foo Fighters blares as we are taken inside the America West Arena, where a spectacular fireworks display lights up the building.

Cade: Hello everybody and welcome to PWA Overdrive! I’m Nick Cade, with Justin Schenck, and we are just one hour away from Walking Wounded, live on pay-per-view!

Schenck: Phoenix, Arizona; home to the Suns and the Coyotes, but it will also be the home of Walking Wounded tonight when Mike Griffin defends the PWA Title against Vulture!

Cade: What about that TLC match for the Tag Team titles between GI Jew, Solomon and The Hot Boy$?! That’s gonna be explosive!

Schenck: There’s the Fatal Four-Way for the International Title, Calysto and Machine, Troha and Montenora, Allison and Jade, and so much more here tonight!

Cade: One of the premier matches of the evening will pit Superstar Scott Hosemann against his former friend and current enemy, Kerry Cox. If Hosemann wins, Cox is done and his career will be over.

Schenck: True, but that match is under hardcore rules. What better match could Kerry lose in than his own type of match? This is gonna be great!

Cade: I don’t know about you, but I’m definitely pulling for Cox tonight.

Segment 2 – Backstage

The camera cuts to the backdoor, where a battered Mike Griffin has just arrived to the America West Arena. Griffin walks slowly in search of his locker room, but stops when Kerry Cox approaches him.

Cox: Big match tonight huh?

Griffin: You're telling me?

Cox: Sure man, you've got a title defense against Vulture and you aren't in the best shape.

Griffin: Uh, Kerry. I know that, but your career is on the line tonight. Isn't that just as big, if not bigger?

Cox: Oh it’s big, but Vulture isn't a punk like Hosemann is.

Griffin: Well I wish you the best, but if this is the last time we see you perform, thanks for all the great memories man. You've given it 110% every time out there and all of us are appreciative to you for that.

Cox: Thanks man, but just like you, I don't plan on losing. You go get ready man, I'll see you later.

Griffin: I sure do hope so Kerry. I hope so.

Cox turns away from Griffin, in a pretty upbeat mood when he finds Bryan Conroy.

Conroy: Well this is it Kerry. September 13. Walking Wounded. Are you ready?

Cox: I'm ready Bryan. As ready as I'll ever be.

Conroy: Well as I'm sure everyone else is doing, just in case you lose tonight, I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all that you have done for us in this business. It’s too much to name and you know that, but none of us want to see you go.

Cox: Hosemann does, but he won't get his way. But no matter what happens out there Bryan, win or lose, I just want one favor from you.

Conroy: Sure thing. Shoot.

Cox: I'll tell you later, I've got a man's ass to whip soon. But I'll see you.

Conroy: Alright Kerry. Good luck out there.

Cox: Thanks Bryan.

Segment 3 – Backstage

We return from commercial with a camera backstage in the parking lot, where The Omega Steve Beovich has just arrived to the America West Arena. Beovich walks into the building and the camera follows him as he finds a dressing room, with Mike Grieco inside.

Beovich: Mr. Grieco (Putting his bag down)

Grieco: (Defensive) What do you want?

Beovich: Easy tiger. I just wanted to talk to you. Now you know we have a Fatal Four Way match tonight, first pin wins.

Grieco: What are you getting at?

Beovich: Even though you called me a lightweight last week, maybe we cannot butt heads tonight. You know and I know that Scythe and Dawkins aren't worth a damn. Either you or me is a shoe-in to win this thing, but that’s only if we stick together and keep one of them out of the way. Now if I win, you've got the first shot at the title on Tuesday's Frequency, no questions asked. But if you win, I only want the same from you. You in?

Grieco: They already need all the help they can get to beat me, I'll be unstoppable with you keeping one out of the way. I'm in.

Beovich: Sweet. I'm gonna go get ready to kick some ass, but lets remember, as long as we stick together, neither of us can lose. I'll see you in the ring.

Beovich exits the room, carrying a big smile on his face as he does.

Segment 4 - Backstage

We are taken right behind the curtain, where Tracie Reed is standing by with Paul Dawkins.

Reed: Paul, tonight you will compete in a Fatal Four-Way matchup for the International Championship. In what will be your first pay-per-view singles championship match, you are considered by most to be an underdog. What are your thoughts?

Dawkins: Tracie, I'm not concerned with being the underdog. Frankly, I prefer it. Beovich, Scythe and Grieco are all tough competitors, but it will be me flying high tonight and winning my first title out there. Take that to the bank.

The camera shot immediately cuts to the parking lot, where a 2003 Fire red Supra peels into the parking lot. The vehicle comes to a halt, and out steps Scythe. The International Champion looks very used to the Western heat as he picks up his bag from the trunk and walks into the arena.

Segment 5 – Ringside

Cade: What a volatile situation that is. Steve Beovich and Mike Grieco having one another’s backs tonight? I doubt it.

Schenck: We’ll find out, but I know that Scythe can’t keep that title if they do.

Cade: Well let’s shift gears a bit to two big grudge matches. One will see Mike Troha face Rudy Montenora in his first PWA pay-per-view matchup. The other will pit The Iceman Jason Calysto against The Machine. What are your vies on that one Justin?

Schenck: Both matches will be very intense, but I think Troha and Machine will deliver the goods tonight. Calysto is amazing, but I think The Machine will be too much for him tonight. As for Troha, he’s just The Miracle, nuff’ said.

Cade: Well with that said, lets send it over to Tracie Reed, who is with the Women’s Champion.

Segment 6 - Backstage

We head back to the interview area, where Allison Kelly is now with Tracie Reed.

Reed: Allison, tonight---

Kelly: Tracie, I'm sorry to cut you off, but there's no need to waste your breath. I know you were gonna ask about my match with Jade, and just I am with like everyone else around here, I'm not worried at all. Jade was dominant at one time -- last year, but this is a new day. My day. And tonight, Jade will find that out the hard way.

-COMMERCIAL BREAK-

Segment 7, Match 1 – Don Capriglione and Jon Dulberg vs. James Biamonte, Ryan and Jeff Knakal

Referee: Jose Soares

“2 of Amerika’s Most Wanted” by Snoop Dogg and 2Pac hits, bringing out the Knakal brothers and James Biamonte to a chorus of boos. The trio of trouble waits in the ring as “Come With Me” by P. Diddy and Jimmy Page begins. Progressive Champion Jon Dulberg and Don “The MVP” Capriglione enter to a rousing ovation and throw caution to the wind as the rush down to the ring!

Dulberg and Capriglione tear into their opponents vigorously as Dulberg manages to clothesline Ryan over the top rope. The champion turns around and walks into a clothesline from Biamonte that evens the odds. The bell sounds and Biamonte begins to pound away on Dulberg, without any type of pity.

Cade: Dulberg had his momentum slowed a bit there.

Schenck: And now Biamonte will pick him apart.

Biamonte tags into Jeff Knakal, who continues the assault on the champion with several stomps and kicks. Dulberg gets into a corner and Knakal follows but Soares breaks it up with his count of four. Knakal picks Dulberg up and whips him to the opposite neutral corner. He follows Dulberg in, but the “Human Highlight” puts both boots up and Knakal crashes into them! Dulberg lunges out of the corner and makes a tag to Capriglione just as Jeff does the same to his brother!

Capriglione enters the ring on fire, knocking down Biamonte and the bigger Knakal. Capriglione whips Knakal into the ropes and downs him with a dropkick before tossing Biamonte over the top. The MVP waits for Knakal to get up and plasters him with a spinebuster! Soares counts a pin attempt for one…two…and Jeff pulls him off!

Biamonte gets off the floor and drags Dulberg down to him. Both men battle furiously up the ramp and away from the action. The Knakals completely disregard Soares’ warnings and manage to double team Capriglione, nailing him with a double chokeslam! Ryan hooks a leg and Soares counts 1---2---3!

Cade: And The Knakals use their teamwork to get this win.

Schenck: Well 2 guys cannot beat 3 the caliber of Biamonte and the Knakal brothers. The numbers game caught up to them. They were doomed from the start Nick.

Winners via pinfall at 4:08 – Ryan Knakal, Jeff Knakal and James Biamonte

Segment 8 – Backstage

A camera is set in the dressing room of Kerry Cox, where the Hardcore Icon is sitting alone quietly. The door opens and Cox doesn't even look up, until he sees a slick pair of slacks and dress shoes and another figure in fatigues and combat boots in front of him. Cox looks up and finds Walter Gindin and GI Jew standing right in front of him.

Cox: Can I help you?

Gindin: You can and you will. You'll help me tonight when Scott Hosemann does you in and rids you of the industry for good. You know Kerry, I have always hated you, and tonight will be such sweet redemption when you lose out there. I always thought that Hosemann would do something great one day, and getting rid of you will be the greatest of them all. As far as I'm concerned, you can go --

Jew: Walter! Shut the hell up. Kerry, everything Walter just said about you was exactly right. I hate your guts too. There was once a time when you referred to me as "a boy". Well this boy became a man by whippin' your ass time and time again, just like last year's Walking Wounded. Now I'm only here for one reason, and that is to thank you for that.

Gindin: Thank him?!?!

Jew: Shut up! Cox, my wars with you gave me the mental toughness I needed to do great things around here, like win the World Championship. I've been the first guy to do a lot of things around here. First Triple Crown winner, first Grand Slam winner after tonight, first Progressive Champion, but you were the first to give me just as tough a fight as I gave you. And for that, you've always got my respect. Now you go out there and give Scott Hosemann the fight of a lifetime, just like you did with me.

Cox stands up and stares right into the cold, blue eyes of GI Jew before shaking his hand in a show of respect. Jew pats him on the back and exits, leaving Cox to ready himself for what could be his final match.

Segment 9 – Jumbotron

Tea Party's "Walking Wounded" hits the speakers and we see a graphic appear on the screen that reads "PWA Walking Wounded Report."  From there, the shot takes us to a backstage set and PWA reporter Ron O'Brien, who is standing in front of a backdrop featuring the Walking Wounded logo.
